My name is Jean C. Ragusa and I am a professor of Nuclear Engineering, specializing in Scientific Computations with applications to Nuclear Science and Engineering.
I am a member of the computational physics and applied data sciences group in the department of nuclear engineering at Texas A&M. I love to share my passion for modeling and simulations in:
- Radiation Transport,
- Reactor Physics,
- Multiphysics Simulations, and
- Scientific Machine Learning:
- Model Order Reduction / Surrogate Models,
- Uncertainty Quantification,
- Data Assimilation
- Machine Learning (PiNNs, …).
We educate students in many aspects of modern computational methods dealing with various applications to our field (and also beyond our discipline too).
Our graduate students are highly sought after by National Laboratories and industry.
