About Us

Welcome to my research page!

My name is Jean C. Ragusa and I am a professor of Nuclear Engineering, specializing in Scientific Computations with applications to Nuclear Science and Engineering.

I am a member of the computational physics and applied data sciences group in the department of nuclear engineering at Texas A&M. I love to share my passion for modeling and simulations in:

  • Radiation Transport,
  • Reactor Physics,
  • Multiphysics Simulations, and
  • Scientific Machine Learning:
    • Model Order Reduction / Surrogate Models,
    • Uncertainty Quantification,
    • Data Assimilation
    • Machine Learning (PiNNs, …).

We educate students in many aspects of modern computational methods dealing with various applications to our field (and also beyond our discipline too).
